This seems to be John Tchicai's first released recording.
The cover of the CD/LP refers to Jørgen Leth who actually does not play. Instead he's a poet, journalist and one of the leading jazz critics. He brought John Tchicai and Max Brüel's group to Poland, and as it was not playing in its normal rooster, they duly agreed that the group would perform under Leth's name...
