This tape was created as a demo reel for producer Geza X by Lippman Entertainment who was a management company for producers/engineers. Desi Benjamin, face to face's manager at the time, had Geza X record and remix the tracks on the tape prior to the band's deal with Victory Music.

Some of the songs on the tape have alternate lyrics and mixing from the versions that were eventually released. Additionally, some of the tracks on the tape were later paired with songs from the Don't Turn Away sessions. This compilation of tracks became the Over it EP.
