On September 17th 2012, we were brought in to RTÉ Studio 8 by the Arena show (Radio 1) to record and mix an EP in a day as part of 'Big Music Week 2012'. The process would be streamed online, live in real time (video & audio) and the EP would then be released the very next day as a free download through the RTE website/soundcloud page.
It was an ambitious project, the first time they had ever done anything like it. We knew it would be one of the most exciting and unusual ways we could ever release our debut ep and were delighted to take them up on the challenge!
The results were this, the Arena EP. A live session EP recorded and mixed in just 6 hours in RTÉ studios.
