About the EP

This EP is by far the most spontaneous thing I have ever attempted musically. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this EP simply did not exist before the 22nd of June, 4 days before its release. My initial idea was to steal Plini's (who i'm sure you all know and love) "free single on my birthday" plan. That day would also have extra significance for me as I would also be graduating my masters degree in physics from the University of St. Andrews. Anyway, what began as one song quickly turned into an EP. All songs were written in between the 22nd and the 24th of June 2013 except "Hypathia" which was written in May of 2012. For this EP, "Hypathia" has been slightly remixed and the bass guitar has all been re-tracked. Writing and recording these 3 songs in a weekend proved challenging and exhausting but I was determined to see this through to give you guys some more music to enjoy with my first release of 2013.

Why 26 ?

I was born of the 26th of June 1990.
I currently live in a house that is numbered 26.
Cassini, my first album was released on the 26th of September 2011.
I graduated with a masters degree on the 26th of June 2013.
I just like the number 26 !
