Heritage, the 10th observation by the Opeth collective, was recorded during various stages throughout late 2010 and early 2011.
Main sessions were recorded at Atlantis Studios, Stockholm, between January 31 and February 21.
Additional vocals and FX recorded during a few days in March at No Man's Land Studios, Hemel Hempstead, UK.
Demo-keepers and additional Mellotron recorded at Junkmail Studios, Stockholm, on various dates.
