After the release of Diamond Cutz Vol. 1, Lavel's feud with Psychopathic Records started to calmed down a bit during the release Diamond Cutz Volume 2.

This mixtape had more of a fun and party vibe compared to the last one, Diamond Cutz Vol. 2 had featured 3 previously released songs as a bonus tracklist, songs such as "Lookout" featuring Blaze Ya Dead Homie, A cover song of "I Got 5 On It" featuring all the recording artists from Psychopathic Records and "Premeditated Murder" with Esham.

This is the last album/mixtape that Lavel has released in his career, as of right now both Diamond Cutz Volume 1 & 2 has remained out of print
