The live-band recordings on the Sacrifice Poles CD were recorded during the mid-life-crisis-era writing period for Cave In's "Jupiter", sometime between October 1999 and early January 2000.The Sacrifice Poles pieces are left-overs of ideas & drawn-out jams from these 4-track recordings that didn't end up on "Jupiter" (with the exception of "Brain Candle Waltz").
Recorded to a 4-track cassette in Metheun, Allston, and Cambridge, MA., 1998,1999, and 2000.
All somewhat improvised, mistakes have been kept.
