Notes

The compilation is subtitled as "Various Artists Never Formerly Known As Prince".

From liner notes:

This is the first release of Evolution Controlled Creations, the label spawned from the band The Evolution Controlled Committee.
Compiled just in time for the end of the world: December, 1999. You did purchase that hand-crank CD player, right?

'Love Is The Alcohol' produced by Pea Hix at Random House Studio, 1995.
'if { if(want) { party; fun; exit; }}' created in part of a non-y2k-compatible operating system, SGI's IRIX 6.2 (unpatched), using Stampede for realtime granular synthesis.
'Glyph Blender' was made on a dead computer audio product called AirTime. It's raison d'etre was playing audio for radio stations. It could be said I misused it.
